Penlan Villa is a great place to tour West Wales, just on the border between Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Easy driving distance to coastal towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot, close to Oakwood leisure park, Folly farm and the National Botanic Gardens of Wales.

Pembertons chocolate is just in the next village, well worth a visit for all you chocoholics out there! Laugharne is the home of famous poet Dylan Thomas, it is a great place to visit, just a little further down the coast you have the world famous Pendine beach.

The pretty market town of St Clears is just 3 miles with a host of restaurants, shops and craft shops. The market town of Carmarthen is a 15 minute drive away with its quaint shops and good restaurants. Wednesday and Saturdays are always bustling which are traditionally market days.
